Meet the Owner
Jamie Davis has worked in the Social Services field for over a decade, specializing in developmental disabilities. She began her journey as a Direct Support Professional working with children and adults who experienced various developmental and physical disabilities. She then broadened her skill set when she became a Care Coordinator. Prior to creating Blissful Birch Jamie was the Short Term Assistance & Referral Coordinator at the largest organization serving those with disabilities; there she provided assistance in applying for services and funding through the State of Alaska and other grant programs, as well as educating the general public about state programs and supports available to those who experience various disabilities.
Jamie loves meeting people who are enthusiastic about life and have the desire to grow and learn. Her wealth of knowledge and experience allows her to direct people in an effective and creative manner. She is passionate and dedicated to those she provides services to. When she is not working, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and making desserts for others to taste test.
Jamie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Accounting, from her schooling she has learned that every small detail has great importance. She also learned that without struggle the reward isn't as great.
Jamie's attentiveness to individual needs and familiarity with available resources allows her to develop a person centered plan that is exceptional when compared to others in her field.
